The Brief
PRETTYBIRD asked me to create image pulls for CALMATIC’s director treatment. I had to search for images in different sports mentioned in the script, organize them into folders, and archive them for later use in the Image Library. Let’s take a look at how I researched and organized.
Research
The image pulls require looking at different photography websites and even films, to grab some stills. PRETTYBIRD also has their own image library, with archives of thousands of images in different categories, and a library of hundreds of movies and commercials to watch. I looked at past Apple commercials, sports, and digital fitness ads. For the layout, I looked through CALMATIC’s past treatments to understand his design aesthetic and created one for the team to work off of.
